Our warranty is extended by The Blind Man, Inc., to the original retail purchaser for as long as he or she owns these products. This warranty applies only to custom blinds that are manufactured by The Blind Man, Inc., and properly installed in the customers residential dwelling. This Limited Lifetime Warranty is extended only to residential, owner occupied dwellings. Commercial, Industrial, Rental, Recreational Vehicles warranty is specifically limited to 90 days from the date of initial purchase.
What we will do: We will repair and/or replace any part of our blinds found to be defective in workmanship and/or materials without charge to you. If The Blind Man, Inc., will make such repairs and/or replacements in your home. After that term and in the case of customer installations, the blind or blinds must be brought or shipped to our factory for warranty adjustments or repairs. In the event that you wish that repairs be made in your home, our minimum installation charge at that time will be charged and the blinds will be repaired in your home if possible and if need be, we will take them to the factory for repair and return them to you This service is limited to a 50 mile radius from Hemet/San Jacinto California.
What you must do: The blinds must be properly measured and installed according to our instructions. The blind cannot be altered in anyway. You must maintain and clean the blind in accordance with the instructions provided. You must use the blind only as a window blind.
What is not covered: This warranty does not cover damages caused by accidents, alterations, misuse, normal wear and tear, direct exposure to salty air within 2 miles of the sea shore, corrosive materials or the color change and yellowing of plastics that takes places with the passage of time. It is the original purchasers responsibility to pay the freight costs both to and from the factory in San Jacinto, California with the exception of those blinds that were installed by The Blind Man, Inc., and are within the term of the first year of ownership as outlined above and within a 50 mile radius of the factory. All Blinds that were purchased Mail Order must be returned to the factory for warranty repairs and it is the responsibility of the original purchaser to pay the freight costs both to and from the Factory. Blinds that are sold by The Blind Man, Inc., and manufactured by others are covered by the warranties of the original manufacturer and the purchaser must contact the original manufacturer to make arrangements for any and all warranty adjustments. For products not manufacturered by The Blind Man, Inc., the warranties of the original manufacturer will apply.
